How long do you have access to the course?

We hope that you have chosen to use English Sphere online because you are serious about learning English.  Research has shown that people do not complete courses which don’t have a time limit.  This is why we give you complete, unlimited access to your course for 1 year.  This should allow you to set a schedule to work through all the modules.  If, for any reason, you do not manage to finish the course in that time please send us an email to see how we can help you.

How long should each course take?

Each course consists of 15 modules.  We estimate that each module should take approximately 1.5-2 hours of dedicated study (including time to take notes and complete the activities).  Working on this basis the entire course should take 25-30 hours.  However, we strongly advise supplementing your learning by reading and listening to extra activities outside the course which can be tied into the topic of the module you are studying.

What activities are included with the course?

As experienced language teachers we understand how to guide you through the learning process to help you make the most of your course.  Each module features specially created reading and listening activities which demonstrate the featured target language.  We recommend that you follow the order of the activities in the module as they will take you step by step through more cognitively challenging exercises.
